The College of Business and Economics, like many institutions today, faces a wide range of challenges including economic pressures, changing expectations of our target student population, and changing market demands regarding the skill sets of our graduates.
The college's Strategic Plan for 2014-2020 is designed to proactively approach these factors while outlining goals and priorities for continual improvement and growth. We believe we have a solid foundation for the future with a refined vision for 2014-2020.
The college has been proactively involved in strategic planning since 2008, continuing the process every five years and adjusting as necessary to align with the university's strategic direction over time. The most recent plan was guided by the college's new mission statement, which was introduced in fall 2014, and aligns with TU 2020.
