College of Business & Economics
The following assignments are due at the first session of your BUSX 460 class.
Before the first class session, meet with your employer/supervisor to complete the internship agreement form. This meeting is an opportunity to discuss your internship role and responsibility more in depth while outlining a detailed learning plan to get the most out of your experience. See the BUSX 460: First Homework Assignments (PDF) document for details.
Reflection is the key to a meaningful professional experience. For the course, you will create a Reflective Journal to track and analyze your experiences. This requires you to think critically about your work experience including your job tasks, interpersonal encounters, conflicts, crises, work-/career-related thoughts, paperwork, meetings and other experiences that you consider significant. See the BUSX 460: First Homework Assignments (PDF) document for details.
Prior to the first class session, you must complete the Student Self-Assessment and Internship Agreement Form, which is completed with the help of your internship supervisor. See the BUSX 460: First Homework Assignments (PDF) document for details.
