Business Administration Major: Human Resource Management Concentration

Managing an organization’s workforce is vital to its success. Human resources professionals are responsible for the attraction, selection, training, assessment and rewarding of employees, while also overseeing organizational leadership and culture, and ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws. Students wishing to pursue this field complete the business administration major with a concentration in human resource management. The curriculum provides an overview of the functions involved in successful human resource management.

The requirements for the business administration major with the human resource management concentration include 21-22 units of lower-level required courses, 33 units of upper-level business required courses and 24 units of human resources courses.
