College of Business & Economics
Students interested in pursuing careers in areas such as brand management, professional selling, advertising, public relations, non-profit management, retail and social media may choose to pursue a minor in marketing to supplement their major course of study.
The marketing minor is available to students who have a major other than business administration with a concentration in marketing. All requirements for the marketing minor must be completed with a grade equivalent of 2.00 or higher. Students electing the marketing minor are not formally admitted to nor graduate from the College of Business and Economics.
Students must complete at least 12 units of courses at Towson in order to earn this minor. Courses taken prior to declaring the minor may be applied toward fulfilling the requirements. Contact the Department of Marketing for more information.
